Big Wolverines Little Wolves
We are excited to announce a new initiative we are launching to strengthen community, build leadership, and support students through key school transitions. We are developing a Big Brothers Big Sisters–style mentoring program entitled, Big Wolverines/ Little Wolves to connect our elementary students with positive role models from the middle high school. Our kick off event in December was a huge success! WHMS students made cards and gift packets for each WES student that were delivered by WHMS Student Council members just before break. WES students will return the favor in February when they make candy grams for WHMS students!

Annual Swim BBQ & Raffle
Did you know that PIE pays for swim lessons for every WES student grades 1-5? With the help of the Wiscasset Community Center, every student gets 7 weeks of lessons as part of their P.E. class. We raise money through an annual BBQ and raffle. Past prizes have included whale watches, gift certificates, tools and so much more!
